Shamanic Breathwork
Shamanic Breathwork is a powerful practice that unites deep, uninterrupted breathing, enhancing emotional healing, self-discovery, and spiritual growth. In this workshop, you’ll learn to breathe continuously without pause between inhalation and exhalation, allowing increased energy flow through your body. This energy activates and amplifies areas of pain and blockages, which will create a focus on these areas and let them speak louder. Shamanic Breathwork creates a meditative state, it facilitates a release from mental chatter, granting access to your subconscious. This connection can enable you to communicate with your body, revealing insights and visualizations of blockages. Join us to embark on a transformative journey towards inner healing and a profound connection with your deeper self and the universe. Perfect for those seeking personal development and spiritual enlightenment in a safe, guided setting.
What is Shamanic or Transformational Breathing? Shamanic Breathwork, Transformational Breathing also called circular breathing therapy, it has several studies and evidence of how it can break down stress, help recover from buried trauma, help recover from chronic anxiety and panic attacks. In addition, it can let you reconnect with your body, what does your body have to tell you. Shamanic Breathwork also uses music as a catalyst to access deep emotion and unconscious thoughts, feelings and emotions and tensions, along with deep circular breathing. This practice was conceived and studied by Dr Stansilov Groff in the 1960s as a powerful therapeutic tool and this is what we will focus on within the session. Shamanic Breathwork is a powerful tool for self-exploration, healing and insights and can result in deep transformation. With eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music to enter a different state of consciousness. This state activates the natural inner healing process of the individual’s psyche and brings him or her a particular set of internal experiences. The combination of music, the accelerated and connected breath and the safe setting make this experience very powerful. Psychiatrist Dr Stanislav Grof and his wife Christina developed this method in the 1970s. It is based on 50 years of therapeutic work with expanded states of consciousness, modern psychology and consciousness research, and the study of ancient wisdom traditions. Shamanic breathwork can help with:
- Relief of tension and addresses stress
- Burn out
- Restores energy balance
- Breathing problems and tightness in the chest
- Improves breathing and posture
- Fear of failure
- Insights into complaints
- Menstrual complaints
- Improving self-image
- Creating more self-love
